Who is eligible for this FYUGP internship?-
Any FYUGP student from a recognised Kerala university such as MG University, Calicut University, CUSAT, KTU, Kannur University, or the University of Kerala who needs 1, 2, or 4 internship credits can apply. Students from any degree including B.Tech, BCA, BBA, B.Com, BA, and B.Sc are welcome. No prior IT background is required for most tracks.
Is this internship offline or online?-
We offer hybrid and on-site internship modes from our Kakkanad, Kochi center. Hybrid mode combines online learning with periodic in-person sessions. On-site mode is available for students who want full in-person participation, and select tracks also support remote-first delivery.
Will my HOD or college accept this internship for FYUGP credit?-
Yes. Portfolix Enterprise Pvt Ltd is a registered industry partner of the Higher Education Council, Government of Kerala. We provide AICTE and UGC-aligned daily logbooks, weekly reports, offer letters, completion certificates, and experience letters designed for direct submission to your HOD or Faculty Advisor for credit approval.

Visit internshipkerala.org, create your student account, and complete your profile with the required documents such as your internship request letter, bonafide certificate, and ID proof. After your profile is ready, you can browse Portfolix Enterprise internship programs and apply directly through the portal.
How many credits can I earn through this FYUGP internship?-
You can earn 1 credit through a 60-hour track, 2 credits through a 120-hour track, or 4 credits through a 240-hour track depending on your program requirement and selected internship format. These tracks are structured to align with FYUGP academic credit expectations followed across Kerala universities.
What internship programs are available under FYUGP?-
More than 40 internship programs are available across four divisions including Portfolix Tech, Portfolio Builders, Portfolix Enterprise, and StartMyBiz. Students can choose from AI and Machine Learning, MERN Stack, UI and UX Design, Product Management, Business Analytics, Marketing, Human Resources, Technical Documentation, and other live-project tracks depending on their academic pathway.
Will I get a certificate via Internship Kerala?-
Yes. Upon successful completion, you receive a valid Internship Certificate and Experience Letter from Portfolix Enterprise Pvt Ltd. The documentation is KSHEC-compliant and prepared for academic credit transfer at your university.

What documents do I need to submit for a FYUGP internship?-
Before starting, you need an internship request letter from your college, a bonafide certificate, and a government-issued ID proof. After completing the internship, you must submit the offer letter, completion certificate, internship report, and evaluation form to your university as per KSHEC guidelines. We provide templates and supporting documents for the required submissions.
Can B.Com, BA, or arts students do a tech internship under FYUGP?-
Yes. Under FYUGP, students can complete internships in their Major, Minor, Interdisciplinary, or Allied Disciplines. B.Com students can choose Business Analytics, Marketing Management, or Performance Marketing tracks. BA students can choose UI/UX Design, HR and Talent Acquisition, or Content Writing tracks. Structured mentorship is provided, so prior tech experience is not mandatory.
Is the FYUGP internship mandatory for all students in Kerala?-
Yes. Under the Four Year Undergraduate Programme, internships are a mandatory credit-bearing component for undergraduate students enrolled at Kerala state universities. The Kerala State Higher Education Council requires students to complete a structured internship at a registered industry partner to earn academic credits.
When should I start my FYUGP internship?-
Internships can be completed during regular semesters or during summer vacations within the first six semesters. Most students begin after Semester 4 or during the summer break after Semester 6. BBA and BCA students often require a 120-hour or higher internship in the third year, so starting early helps you secure your preferred program and batch.
